Thames International Senior High School (TISHS) is a FULLY ONLINE and FLEXIBLE program that develops Skills and Competencies that are essential in the “New Normal” through our two academic programs for Grades 11 and 12, namely:

Program Details
SUBJECTS
The SHS Program will run on a Flexible Academic Modular delivery mode starting on August 24, 2020 until the end of June 2021 for School Year 2020-2021. The modules (subjects) will be delivered on a per month basis. A student can enroll and take 2 modules per month.
Apart from the 34 prescribed DepEd subjects, TISHS adds 4 ThamesX (Skills for the New Normal) subjects namely:
- Foundations for the Skills of the Future
- Design Thinking Fundamentals
- Acquiring the Mindset for the Digital Age
- Social Entrepreneurship
ONLINE PROGRAM DELIVERY
Each subject will have a dedicated daily schedule for the learning experience via Google Classroom. The online classes consist of asynchronous activities such as pre-recorded video lectures, practical exercises and activities, case studies, reflections, and online assessments that are supported by synchronous live sessions via Google Meet or Zoom. This supports the visual, experiential, and interactive learning mode characteristic of the Generation Z. Aside from the academic offerings, TISHS is also taking into account the extra-curricular experience of the students. Thus, our school has a calendar of online student activities prepared for the school year.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants for Grade 11 must be currently enrolled in or have completed Grade 10 with any public or private schools at the time of application. Likewise, Grade 12 applicants must have finished Grade 11 level.
- Applicants must not have failing grades in any of the subjects in Grade 10 (for Grade 11 entry) or Grade 11 (for Grade 12 entry), and must have good deportment records. Grade 12 entrants and/or transferees must submit transfer credentials from the previous school.
- All applicants must go through a personal interview.
- All applicants must submit a duly accomplished application form.
- All applicants must pay a non-refundable and non-transferrable application processing fee of PHP600.00.

Thames SHS graduates are accepted automatically into the undergraduate programs of Thames International Business School. Outstanding students may get credit exemptions to selected Undergraduate subjects.
Thames International Business School students have the flexibility to graduate in the Philippines with Degrees in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration and Communication Arts OR they can choose to finish their degree in the UK, Australia or Singapore among the partner universities of Thames.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the academic modular delivery?
Subjects are delivered in a modular fashion on a monthly basis. Each module (subject) starts and finishes in 1 month. Students have to choose 2 subjects per month.
Is it really possible to finish the entire content in one month?
Yes. Since it’s online, each class will be a combination of synchronous and asynchronous classes and the entire semester’s content can be compressed in one month. This is also the reason why the maximum load for each month is 2 subjects versus the usual 8-10 subjects in one semester.
So after one month, do I receive a final grade already for the subjects I took?
Yes.
How does a typical SHS schedule look like if it’s full online?
Each subject will still have a dedicated class schedule in the learning management system platform. This will be used as a basis to ensure that live sessions will not overlap. At the same time, this schedule will give an idea to the students on the workload that is expected. Generally, class activities are done from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, from Mondays to Fridays, and students are given flexibility to manage their daily tasks.
Am I automatically accepted to Thames Undergraduate programs when I finish TISHS?
Yes. Thames SHS graduates are accepted automatically into the undergraduate programs of Thames International Business School. Outstanding students may get credit exemptions to selected Undergraduate subjects.
What gadgets do I need to be able to participate in these online classes?
- Hardware
- Any computer, tablet and smartphone that is capable of running modern Operating Systems (Windows, MAC OS, Android / iOS)
- More memory (RAM) will allow for more applications, such as your online course and productivity tools, to be open and will speed up your computer in general
- A high speed/broadband internet connections. Preferably 10Mbps
- If your computer does not already have this functionality, you will want to purchase a microphone/headphone and a webcam. These will be used at times for synchronous meetings, voice-over presentations, and/or video discussions and presentations

Will there be school uniform?
No.
Are students required to attend extra-curricular activities?
Yes. TISHS does not just focus on the the academic development of its students. The school also pays attention on the holistic development and well-being of its students.
Is there a scholarship in SHS?
