Creative Disruption

Creative Problem Solving for Post Covid-19

Creativity at its core is Problem Solving – may it be through an impactful image or an innovative idea. We live in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) world that challenges the relevance and stability of our businesses and industries. So, the need for Creativity is even more pronounced. Our current thinking and comfort zones are in need of a shake-up.

The Creative Disruption Course will help one become a problem-finder, original thinker, and change-maker. This course will provide a space for taking risks, committing mistakes and unfiltered creativity to ensure that participants are getting outside their comfort zones in pursuit of novel solutions to real world issues. We will encourage you to question existing assumptions in your respective disciplines. This course is the precursor to the Innovation and Creative Entrepreneurship (ICE) programme.

As a Creative Disruptor, you will be immersed in a series of short but challenging modules and projects, designed to interrogate why people are resistant to change, the origins of our psychological programming, and cultural conditioning. We aim to build the confidence and courage to ask questions and see new possibilities and the creation of new paradigms. In short, we want you to be more comfortable with change and able to see connections within the complexities of the societies we live in.

Creative Disruptors are shakers of the status quo and established relationships. They bring something new and original, or are mavens and connectors which build networks and bridges to seemingly disparate fields. They question obsolescent relationships and things that are impediments to progress. Most importantly, they are seeking new ways to serve and the world a better place.
