Through its Summer Term Abroad Program and Global Degree Transfer Program, Thames provides students with international education opportunities. These programs allow students to gain global exposure, study in multiple countries, and earn degrees from prestigious partner universities worldwide.

Summer Term Abroad
The Summer Term Abroad program enables Thames students to study in different countries during Summer Terms. They can spend one term in one country and another term in a different country where Thames has a partner university. Students have the flexibility to choose the combination and order of countries where they wish to study.

Students may select from 17 partner universities across four continents in the United States, England, Ireland, France, Japan, Singapore, and Australia, with Spain and Canada to be added in 2025. Courses taken abroad contribute to their degree at Thames International in the Philippines.

Students apply to multiple universities at the start of the calendar year prior to their departure and select based on country preference and available courses. They join regular university classes, fulfill all academic requirements, and receive an Official Transcript for credit transfer upon completion. Partner schools offer various housing options and have dedicated international offices to support visiting students.

• Final Year Summer: University of Limerick (Ireland)

Global Degree Transfer Program
Students complete their first two years at Thames before transferring to one of its partner universities worldwide to finish their Bachelor’s Degree. The degree is awarded by the partner university upon completion.

After two years at Thames, students can complete their degree in one year in the UK, 1.5 to 2 years in Australia, or 2 to 2.5 years in the US. This program provides students with the flexibility to earn an international degree while benefiting from Thames’ strong academic foundation.
