What are the application requirements?

Regular Undergraduate Student

  • Two 2×2 picture (white background)
  • Original copy of PSA birth certificate
  • Certified copy of Report of Grades
  • Certified Copy of High school diploma

Transferee Student

  • Two 2×2 picture (white background)
  • Original copy of PSA birth certificate
  • Certificate of Honorable Dismissal or Certificate of Transfer
  • Certified copy of TOR

Admission for International Student Applicants

  • Authenticated or Apostilled Secondary Records or equivalent
  • Authenticated or Apostilled High School diploma
  • Authenticated or Apostilled Birth Certificate (for Non-Filipino Citizens)
  • Copy of PSA Birth Certificate (for Filipino Citizens)
  • Two 2×2 picture (white background)
  • Copy of the biographic and signature pages of the valid passport
  • Payment of non-refundable application fee of PHP3,000.00 (USD60)

Note: If documents are in a foreign language, a certified English translation of these documents must also be submitted.

What is the length of a regular trimester or term?

A regular term typically runs for 10 weeks or 2.5 months.

How many modules should I take every term?

A regular load that a student can take or will be advised to take per term is 5-6 modules, equivalent to 15-18 units depending on the curriculum.

Students can request for an underload or overload for allowable reasons.

Do you have a Refund Policy?

Yes. However, certain fees will be charged according to the following guidelines:

  • Full refund of fees paid for the term will be made if the student withdraws or file an LOA before the start of classes.
  • 50% refund will be made if student withdraws enrolment or files for LOA within the first week of classes.
  • 25% refund will be made if student withdraws enrolment or files for LOA within the second week of classes.
  • No refund of fees will be made if the student withdraws or files for LOA anytime after the second week of classes.

What gadgets do I need to be able to participate in the online classes?

  • Any computer (laptop/desktop/tablet) that is capable of running modern Operating Systems (Windows and MAC OS)
  • More memory (RAM) will allow for more applications, such as your online course and productivity tools, to be open and will speed up your computer in general
  • A high speed/broadband internet connection, preferably 10Mbps
  • Microphone and webcam (built-in or installed hardware)

What is the Global Degree Transfer Program?

Thames students do the first two years of their foreign degree in the Philippines. They then transfer to our partner universities to complete their college degrees in 1-2 years abroad. Thames has 17 partner universities across the world. This program has made getting a foreign degree more affordable and requires less time abroad.

What is the profile of the Thames' faculty members?

The faculty members are industry practitioners who ensure that lessons learned by our students are valid and useful in actual practice.

What is the ratio of between students and faculty members?

Class sizes vary across programs but generally, classes have 15-20 students, which allow the faculty members to get to know and mentor each of the students accordingly.
